Are tattoos bad ?

When we start searching for answers to the question in the headline, a number of related questions would arise:
1. Are tattoos bad?
2. Will I go to hell for having a tattoo?
3. Can I have tattoos and still be a Christian?
4. Are there such thing as “Christian Tattoos?”
Tattoos are a widely debated topic among Christian culture. Look at the questions below:
1. Why would I get a tattoo? or Why did I get a tattoo?
2. Who will my tattoo glorify? or Who do my tattoos glorify?
3. What would my tattoo say about me? or What do my tattoos say about me?
Although these questions may seem silly, they are going to play an important role in your view on tattoos in reference to God’s word. Why? Because the answers to those questions may just be the answers you’ve been looking for.
In Leviticus 19:28, you can see what most people say is a pretty clear-cut answer as to what God thinks about tattoos.
“Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the LORD.” -Leviticus 19:28.
But as clear as this text may seem, without the context and background, this text can be taken out of context in many ways. And it usually is.
This text is directed towards pagan nations who would violently cut and mark their bodies as a sign of worship to their gods. The tattoos or “markings” one would find on their body would resemble which god or gods their were worshiping.
Pretty different from the tattoos we see today, right? Yup.
Markings or tattoos that resemble worship to anyone other than God are sinful, however that 99% of the tattoos we see in today’s culture are not due to idol worship, but more creative expression and artistic value. It’s not the actual tattoo or marking that is sinful, but the motives in which each tattoo or marking is obtained.
Tattoos are not for everyone. A person has to realize the motives of its heart mean more to God than the ink on the skin. But also realize that this doesn’t mean your body is a free for all canvas to be filled with mindless and ill-thought clip art.
Your body is still a temple, and to treat your body with disrespect is to treat God the same way. Whether you are debating getting your first tattoo or your fiftieth, I pray you will seek God for wisdom, guidance, and evaluate the motives of your heart.
Remember those three questions? Well, it’s time to ask them again.
1. Why would I get a tattoo? Why did I get a tattoo?
2. Who will my tattoo glorify? Who do my tattoos glorify?
3. What would my tattoo say about me? What do my tattoos say about me?
We may not all reach the same conclusion, but that doesn’t mean we are not all loved by the same God.

NEVER MOCK GOD PLEASE (people who mocked God)

1. John Lennon (Singer): Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said, “Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that... I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him” (1966). Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

2. Tancredo Naves (President of Brazil): During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

3. Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet): During A show in Canecio (Rio de Janeiro), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said, “God, that's for you.” He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.

4. The man who built the Titanic After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said, “Not even God can sink it” The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.

5. Marilyn Monroe (Actress), She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said, “I don't need your Jesus”. A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.

6. Bon Scott (Singer) The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang, “Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell”. On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.

SAY THIS 8 SECONDS PRAYER:
Just repeat this prayer and see how God moves!
“Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless me, my family, my home, and my friends. Please forgive me for mocking you either knowing or unknowingly. Write my name in the book of life in Jesus' name...

Standing with Jesus

Standing with Jesus
Luke 10:16

“Then he [Jesus] said to the disciples, ‘Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God who sent me’ ” Luke 10:16 (NLT).

DO YOU AGREE ???

DO YOU AGREE ??? 4 things that placed Jehovah Witness ahead of other christians
1. Jesus instructed his followers to preach the gospel--> Unlike other churches who only broadcast on TV or have their members go in packs, on the streets distributing church invites, Jehovah's witnesses are the only group of Christians who still patiently go from house to house teaching people

2. Celebration of pagan holidays- christ's date of birth is not recorded in the bible, and he never instructed that we help him celebrate it, amongst many other pagan holidays.. And Jehovah's witnesses are he only people who don't celebrate these pagan holidays.

3. Non-request or tithe- Jehovah's witnesses don't ask their members for tithe, instead they donate undisclosed amount out of freewill.

4. Non-segregation of members- unlike most churches where the big men sit on comfy chairs while ordinary members sit on plastic chairs or where titles such as most. reverend, senior pastor, his holiness, and many others.. Jehovah's witnesses either address each other by name or add theprefix brother or sister.

Isaiah 66:1

As high as God is and even though He has His throne in Heaven, yet He condescends to meet the needs of His children on earth (Isaiah 66:1).
