The following is a list of scriptures on laziness. Laziness is a killer; fight it with all you have. Laziness breeds disappointment, and disappointment breeds hopelessness, and hopelessness breeds DEPRESSION
, and depression robs you of your motivation, which in turn breeds more laziness. It is a cycle of death and destruction.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 – And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your OWN BUSINESS
, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; (12) That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

Proverbs 24:30-34 – I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; (31) And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. (32) Then I saw, and considered itWELL

Proverbs 6:6-11 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: (7) Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, (8) Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. (9) How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Proverbs 13:4 -The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

Proverbs 22:29 -Seest thou a man diligent in his BUSINESS

Ecclesiastes 10:18 -By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.

Proverbs 28:19-20 – He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. (20) A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
Proverbs 20:13 – Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
Proverbs 21:5 – The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
