Obedience refers to willingness to comply wit d commands of those in authority.
After God brought out d Israelite out of d land of Egypt, God commands obedience bt unfortunately,most dem perish in d wilderness bcos dey disobeyed God.
what did God require frm d israelite? Deut 10:12 answers d question and it read thus: And now, Israel, what does the LORD
your God ask of you but to fear the LORD
your God, to walk in obedience to him, to
love him, to serve the LORD your God with
all your heart and with all your soul,
There is great reward for obedience, bt there is only one condition dat is attach to it and d condition is "IF YOU WILL HEARKEN TO THE LORD".
In Deut.28:14 God bless d obedient ppl bt d blessing is base on d condition "IF". if u can walk wit God in truth all dis blessin will be yours. But dont forget dat verse 15-68 contains curses for disobedient ppl. The curses dere also base on condition "IF YOU WILL NOT HEARKEN TO THE LORD".
Disobedient can lead to punishment and punishment can lead to death. David disobeyed God by snatching Uriah's wife,he killed her husband so dat he can marry her bt later on God punished him bt d punishment was upon his children. Absalom(David's firstborn) tried to overthrow his father while he was stlill alive, he also slept with all his father's wives in public.
In conclusion, disobedience can lead to punishement and punishment can lead to Death. walk with God wit all ur heart and all his blessing will com upon u.
